Our client, a rapidly growing, dynamic, highly successful, entrepreneurial software technology company seeks a bright, hands-on, high-potential financial professional to join the finance team.  The company serves the financial services, credit and specialty finance sectors and they are expected to double in size and revenue over the next three to five years. Having recently been acquired by a private equity firm, the company is going through rapid growth and expansion, both through organic growth as well as strategic acquisitions.  The company has a unique business model / product offering and is viewed as a leader in their market with the potential to expand market share / customer base. They have an experienced, highly reputable, forward-thinking management team that continue to lead them to achieve/exceed their goals and objectives. The environment is dynamic, hands-on, fast paced, results-oriented and positive. The company is located in Arlington and is Metro accessible.


In this newly created position, this person will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer, who is an experienced leader and strong mentor.  This is an interesting, diverse, hands-on position where is person will have valuable exposure to all areas of the company, including top-notch executive team which is comprised of a number of reputable, successful financial professionals.  This person will have responsibility over the financial statement process, financial/regulatory compliance, budgeting/forecasting, FP&A, US GAAP compliance, audit and tax coordination, complex customer invoicing and special projects. This person will also have input over process improvement and will have involvement on acquisition activities/transaction-oriented activities with the private equity firm.  This person should be detail-oriented, an effective communicator, and career focused/driven.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.  CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a growing, entrepreneurial corporate environment.
  • Prior Big 4 or regional public accounting experience strongly preferred. 
  • Career-motivated and desire to work in an entrepreneurial company. 
  • Knowledgeable about US GAAP and current financial reporting trends.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to be hands-on.
  • Ability to work across functions and provide support to executives and other leaders.
  • High degree of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
