Executive Assistant to the Chairman of Board



We have been retained by a prominent, global, NYSE $15+ bil revenue industry leader to search for a key person to help manage the professional/personal life for the Chairman of the Board. The person currently in this role is retiring after working for the Chairman for the last 30+ years. This is a unique, special role as this person will work with other key members of the Chairman’s family office / boutique private equity firm and will be involved with both the public company as well as other diverse businesses holdings / assets in the family office / private equity firm. The Chairman also sits on numerous prominent public company and Philanthropic Boards. We seek an experienced professional who has been in similar roles working with C-Suite executives, preferably with current / prior experience in a public company.  The office environment is positive, respectful and focused towards quality.

This valued professional will report directly to the Chairman of this NYSE $15 + bil prominent, global industry leader and work closely with other members of the Family Office/Private Equity Firm and assist in all aspects of the Chairman’s business and personal life. Specific duties include:

  • Schedule and assure preparation for internal and external meetings with business associates, investors, contractors, attorneys, employees, etc.
  • Manage calls, emails, daily schedules with multiple calendars, travel coordination and itineraries.
  • Capture meeting action items, including meeting minutes as appropriate.
  • Help manage real estate holdings along with real estate / family office staff in multiple locations. 
  • Help manage and coordinate private aviation assets / employees as well as other US and international transportation / travel needs. 
  • Compose correspondence, via both e-mail and hard copy, to investors, lenders, contractors, attorneys, employees, etc. regarding all manner of company and personal business.
  • Create, organize and manage files, due diligence binders, correspondence files, and spreadsheet information.
  • Develop spreadsheets and reports for special projects as required.
  • Research individuals, locations, financial or real estate and personal information.
  • Gather and organize information to be sent out to investors, lenders, appraisers, buyers, sellers, third parties, attorneys, potential lessees, etc. for due diligence and work with every department to gather information for projects and personal matters.
  • Organize, manage/coordinate events and social activities. 
  • Special Projects as required

Compensation:  Excellent compensation package includes competitive base salary in excess of $100,000 plus bonus plus strong benefits



  • Minimum 15 years of prior relevant experience. Prior experience working with/for “C-Suite” Level executives.  Current/prior public company experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Individual must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment with ever-changing deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, poised, well-polished, and able to take direction.
  • Interested candidates should be a self-starter and a team player who is energetic with strong interpersonal skills and detail-oriented.
