Senior Property Manager

COMPANY BACKGROUND:

Our client is one of the largest, most prominent, privately-held commercial real estate development and management companies in the country.  They are seeking a bright, talented, polished professional to join their best-in-class property management team in the Washington, DC metro area.  The region operates as an autonomous business unit and has an impressive list of transactions and accomplishments both regionally and nationally.  The company is very entrepreneurial and continues to expand the region with strategic acquisitions, development projects and new lines of business.  They have an outstanding reputation for successful management and are one of the most respected companies across the country, with excellent, strategic leadership and talented employees who have worked together to form a collaborative, rewarding company culture. 

POSITION INFORMATION:

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, this person will be responsible for maximizing the operational and financial performance of the assets through strategic and active daily management.  Specific duties include preparation of annual building budgets (expense and revenue), preparation/presentation of variance analysis, lease administration, and providing the highest level of customer service to tenants and clients.  This person will also maintain a keen and detailed understanding of each asset while overseeing a team of two Assistant Property Managers and the engineering staff.  This is an excellent opportunity to gain best-in-class property management experience from one of the top real estate companies with national recognition, while having a great deal of autonomy and ownership over these assets.  

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Minimum of 3-5 years of property management experience, preferably with Class A/B office assets.
  • Strong financial skills needed, knowledge of excel required.
  • The person should have the ability to provide solutions in a positive, constructive manner while gaining the confidence and support of others.
  • Proactive, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent customer service with a strong attention to detail.

TOTAL ESTIMATED ANNUAL CASH COMPENSATION: Contingent Upon Experience.
