Senior-Level Project Management Opportunity- Prestigious Commercial Real Estate Owner/Developer

COMPANY BACKGROUND:

Our client is one of the most prestigious, prominent commercial real estate owners/developers in the metro Washington D.C. area.  The company is looking for a bright, high potential individual to join their design/architecture/construction team as a point person for complex, large-scale, high-end development projects.  For the past 20 years, the company has focused on value creation across all asset classes, including office, multi-family, retail, hotel, and land held for development.  The company has completed over $4.7B of transactions in the DC area, achieving exceptional returns.  The portfolio is currently over 3.5M square feet, and will rapidly grow to over 5M square feet upon the upcoming completion of a major mixed-use development project.  The executive management team is highly reputable and widely recognized for being strategic, innovative, and entrepreneurial.  The company is well-positioned for continued success and expansion and they have an outstanding culture that is positive, motivated, and team-oriented. 

POSITION INFORMATION:

In this newly created role, this person will be reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Construction, who has an incredible career background in construction and architecture, and is an excellent mentor.  This person will have valuable, broad exposure to multiple areas of the company, including acquisitions, development, asset management, and property management.  This person will work on complex, large-scale, high-end projects in the DC metro area with excellent visibility both internally and with outside vendors, tenants, and subcontractors.  Given this level of exposure, presentation, polish, and customer service are of the utmost importance.  They are looking for a bright, high-potential, detail-oriented professional for this important position.  The ideal candidate will have knowledge/experience in architecture and design, coupled with exposure and/or experience with construction/preconstruction project management.  This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact to a highly reputable organization.

 

Compensation

Excellent compensation package, including competitive base salary, bonus, and strong benefits.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 7-15 years of relevant commercial real estate experience in office, multifamily, and/or retail product type.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Architecture, Design, or Construction.
  • Excellent presentation, polish, and keen eye to detail.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while allocating time between multiple tasks, deadlines, and opportunities.
  • The person should have the ability to provide solutions in a positive, constructive manner while gaining the confidence and support of others.
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.  Given the exposure and visibility this person will have, the successful candidate should have excellent oral and written communications skills.

TOTAL ESTIMATED ANNUAL CASH COMPENSATION: Contingent Upon Experience.
