Senior Director, FP&A

COMPANY BACKGROUND:

We have been retained by a $1.5B+ revenue, $15+ bil market cap publicly-traded, rapidly-growing, dynamic, tech-enabled consumer product/services company that is revolutionizing / changing its industry to search for a high potential, financial professional to join its growing financial leadership team. The business model has shifted the way consumers view the industry, and the company’s current revenue represents nearly 90% year over year growth. Since its IPO last September, the company has experienced amazing growth and is well-positioned for continued significant growth both through US and international growth as well as through strategic acquisitions. Its market is massive and growing and is poised for disruption and additional positive change.   The company continues to build an experienced, hands-on, and committed leadership team to lead this fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and progressive organization. The culture is fast-paced, diverse, hands-on positive and continues to evolve/change as the company grows. This is a highly visible, impactful financial leadership role. This Senior Director will add value to the global operations by taking financial ownership over the company’s business segments and leading a substantial team. This position will be located at the company headquarters in New York City (Manhattan).

POSITION INFORMATION:

This hands-on, high-potential professional will report to the Vice President of FP&A and will have high visibility among the executive team. This person will manage teams responsible for forecasting, reporting, and analytics across the company’s segments.  This includes P&Ls for product and SaaS business lines.  Additionally, this Senior Director will partner with Strategy and other cross functional teams to deliver models and analysis vital to future growth.  This person will oversee strategic planning, annual budgeting process, quarterly / monthly forecasting, and will partner with Accounting to ensure best practices are in place for reporting.  This person will be a key leader across the organization and will be expected to guide the team effectively through change and global growth.

Compensation:

Excellent compensation package including competitive cash compensation as well as significant annual RSU equity grants.

If needed, meaningful relocation will be provided. Given the current environment, if desired, flexibility can be provided regarding the timing of relocation as well as this person will be able to work from home/remotely consistent with other key professionals in the company.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 7+ years of related financial, analytical experience in a growth-company.  Diverse finance experience within product-based or SaaS-based technology industries.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related quantitative field required.  MBA a plus.
  • A detail-oriented professional with a high level of integrity and dependability along with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Must possess strong business acumen and common sense. Ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions quickly.  
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency required; familiarity and comfort with financial systems.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability/willingness to interact with executives, Board members, and other business leaders.
  • A career-motivated, dedicated, committed manager-leader.

TOTAL ESTIMATED ANNUAL CASH COMPENSATION: Contingent Upon Experience.
