Tax Manager

POSITION INFORMATION:

This position will be reporting directly to the Director of Tax, who has an impressive background and is an excellent mentor.  This person will also have valuable interaction and exposure to the full tax department (including the VP of Tax), as well as various functional areas of the company, and external partnerships.  This is a critical role and they are looking for a high-potential person who can be tactical while also having a managerial/strategic mindset in understanding the business.  This person will have an opportunity to gain experience and visibility to all areas of tax, including planning, compliance, provision, and special projects.  This person will receive excellent mentoring from the Director of Tax, while also having a good level of autonomy.  As part of the top-notch financial team, this is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic, complex, growing organization with an outstanding management team.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS in Accounting or related field.  CPA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant, progressive tax experience. Current/Previous Big 4 or regional public accounting  highly preferred.
  • A hands-on, self-motivated tax professional with strong technical and analytical skills. 
  • Strong communication skills along with the ability to manage multiple priorities.  Solid team orientation and work ethic.
  • Career-motivated, dedicated, committed professional.
  • Highest level of ethics, integrity, and common sense.

TOTAL ESTIMATED ANNUAL CASH COMPENSATION: Contingent Upon Experience.
