Senior Manager, Investor Relations & Corporate Development

COMPANY BACKGROUND:

Our client, an acquisition-oriented, international, $1.5B+ Revenue manufacturing company, seeks a take-charge Investor Relations professional to join the senior management team.  The company has an impressive history of growth both organically and through acquisitions, and it anticipates significant growth in both revenue and earnings over the next 3-5 years.  The company has a high quality, experienced, innovative management team, which has led it through impressive annual growth.  The company has a consistent track record of providing outstanding career opportunities to high potential financial professionals.  

POSITION INFORMATION:

This person will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of the Company’s Investor Relations program, building and managing strong relationships with investors and sell-side analysts, and taking a significant role in corporate development duties.   The Senior Manager will act as an Investor Relations resource for both internal and external communication efforts.  They will also support the Vice President with M&A activities by facilitating evaluation and implementation. Additionally, the individual will lead financial analysis and due diligence on transactions.  This position is based in Chicago, IL.

Compensation:

A competitive package with annual cash compensation consistent with experience level. 

If required, comprehensive full relocation package will be provided.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant financial investor relations experience with exposure to sophisticated, publicly-traded companies.
  • M&A experience from either a corporate environment, investment banking, or M&A consulting firm a plus. 
  • Possesses a strong entrepreneurial and strategic spirit, coupled with a hands-on, detail-oriented mentality. 
  • Must have stellar verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with proven ability to lead and partner well with teams while developing internal client relationships.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.  Strong business and common sense.

TOTAL ESTIMATED ANNUAL CASH COMPENSATION: Contingent Upon Experience.
