COMPANY BACKGROUND:

Our client, a dynamic $12+ billion revenue, NYSE, acquisition-oriented, international, industrial/manufacturing conglomerate, seeks a take-charge audit professional to join the senior financial management team. The company, a market leader, has an impressive history of growth both organically and through acquisitions, and anticipates significant growth over the next 3-5 years.  Historically, this organization has produced above average financial results, with its stock outperforming the S&P 500 by a wide margin.  The company has a high quality, experienced, innovative management team, which has led the company over the last 10 years through impressive annual growth in revenue, EPS and stock appreciation.  The company has a consistent track record of providing outstanding career opportunities to high potential financial professionals.  The company is headquartered in the Mid Atlantic region.

POSITION INFORMATION:

This person will manage and lead the global, worldwide audit function.  This person will set strategy and operating plan for financial audits, ensure proper reporting controls are in place, provide guidance and due diligence on acquisitions and monitor legal compliance. This person will also manage financial risk management on a worldwide basis as well as monitor/maintain SOX 404 compliance.  They will work closely with senior management on various special projects and be considered part of the senior financial management team of the company. 

 

This highly visible, strategic position has been benchmarked for a high potential professional and will provide significant upward career mobility to other strategic financial positions within the company.   

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS in Accounting; CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 20 years experience, Big 4 Public Accounting and/or corporate internal audit experience required.
  • Knowledgeable in US GAAP and current financial reporting trends. 
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.  Strong business and common sense.
  • Career-motivated, dedicated, committed leader. Must be willing to travel both on a domestic and international basis.
  • Experience with complex multi-national companies and/or exposure to international industrial conglomerates.
  • Proven track record of success and career progression.

TOTAL ESTIMATED ANNUAL CASH COMPENSATION: Up to $500,000.00*
