Emily McManaman

Emily McManaman is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of progressive experience in executive search, human resources, and operations. She has worked in various industries that include real estate, technology, manufacturing, private equity, biotech, and financial services. She is a strategic partner in the recruitment of senior to executive level professionals across functional areas that include finance/accounting, tax, information technology, human resources, investor relations, deal strategy, and legal.

Emily has full recruitment cycle experience that includes search strategy, research, sourcing and engagement of top-tier candidates, through the full process of deep assessment, offer negotiations and acceptance, through resignation forward.  She understands the importance of a meaningful and in-depth collaborative approach with hiring managers and key team members in order to assist them in realizing their goals and objectives.

Emily’s original tenure with Grant Morgan started in 2006, and she progressed within the organization for over 15 years. In 2022, Emily had an opportunity to join a rapidly growing, independent wealth management practice to lead HR & Operations for the firm.  During her two years with the company, the firm more than doubled in headcount, AUM (over $4B), and geographical locations.  While gaining valuable corporate and growth experience in this capacity, Emily ultimately decided to revisit her passion for executive recruiting and rejoined Grant Morgan in the beginning of 2024.    

A graduate from The University of Maryland College Park, Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology.  She was also the recipient of the Director’s Scholarship in Music Performance.  Emily resides in Maryland and enjoys spending quality free time with family and friends, as well as outdoor activities such as jogging, paddleboarding, skiing, and exploring Anna Maria Island.
