Mark Pugrant
Mark Pugrant, Founder and Managing Director of Grant Morgan, manages key executive level assignments for both local and national companies. While responsible for the oversight of the firm and all search activity, he also manages the real estate and specialty finance industry practices within the firm.
He has 25+ years of experience completing assignments in a diversity of senior-level management positions, including searches in executive leadership, operations, strategy, finance, treasury, operations, corporate development, branding/marketing, information technology, human resources and administration areas. He has developed an extensive networking base of contacts in the regional and national marketplace and has a strong understanding of business from both a financial and operational perspective.
Mark and the Grant Morgan team have developed a consistent and extremely high success rate of completion on retained searches for many years. He has pioneered a strategy to partner with client companies to provide a transparent, process-driven, quality-oriented process that completes searches on a more timely, consistent, predictable basis than many other retained search firms.

He has extensive experience working with many different types of ownership structures including public companies (large industry leaders as well as recent IPO’s), private-equity owned companies, domestic and internationally based operating divisions as well as joint venture and partnership entities.
Managing Director/ Founder
Mark began his career with Arthur Andersen where he spent time in both the audit and tax divisions. While at Andersen, Mark specialized in the real estate and financial services industries and worked with many prominent public and private companies including developers, builders, property management, mortgage banking, brokerage, and related complex financial services companies. Mark left Andersen to start an accounting and finance recruiting firm with a group of ex. Andersen management personnel. During this period, Mark developed the real estate, construction and financial services practice of the firm and, during his last year with the organization, he was responsible for overseeing the daily management of the firm. Additionally, he was instrumental in implementing the retained search division of the firm. Mark also worked for a prominent, successful boutique retained search firm prior to founding Grant Morgan in the early 1990’s.
Mark is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated with a B.S. in Accounting and Economics from Michigan State University
