This organization is in the alternative energy sector and is backed by a prestigious private-equity firm with over $150B in AUM. Position:
This newly created position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer, who will provide excellent guidance and mentorship. The Investments Associate will work with the CFO to develop robust investment analysis tools and processes. Additionally, this person will have valuable exposure to multiple areas of the company, including mergers & acquisitions, asset management, portfolio management and the executive leadership team. Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in financial modelling and analysis, preferably with a complex, high-growth company.
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field.
Industry experience in energy, infrastructure or a related field; experience working with a renewable independent power producer (IPP), investment banking, M&A or private equity
Understanding of renewable energy credits, project finance, tax equity structures and regulatory considerations in the utility-scale renewable energy sector preferred.
Highly analytical with experience in critical thinking and problem-solving; asks questions and seeks input, is curious with the ability to think creatively.
Strong interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence, a passion for teamwork, and a rigorous drive for results in an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment.
Proficient technical skills, including complex financial modeling and data analysis using Excel.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to internal stakeholders and external audiences.
Exceptional organizational skills, efficient work habits and attention to detail with high standards of accuracy and precision.
High level of integrity and values, including compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
