Global Corporate Controller

We have been retained by a privately held, rapidly growing, acquisition-oriented Pre-IPO Cloud-based, AI powered, cutting edge tech company who seeks a, high potential, hands-on Global Corporate Controller. This role will be a critical member of the finance management team reporting to the CFO. The executive management team is comprised of meaningful, entrepreneurial leaders who are highly respected in the marketplace. The company has gone through impressive, sustained, rapid growth over the last 5+ years and is well positioned for continued growth and further expansion. Position:
The successful candidate will provide strategic direction for global financial operations and lead the accounting, internal controls, and financial reporting for the company. They seek a high-potential, hands-on, pragmatic financial professional with a demonstrated record of driving change to improve processes as well as have strong management and leadership skills. The successful candidate will enjoy and have a track record of success to manage and scale financial operations in a complex, rapidly growing evolving, acquisition-focused business environment.
Specific duties include but are not limited to financial reporting, technical accounting, accounting/financial operations including management of the audit process, Treasury and special projects (IPO readiness, ERP, process improvement, acquisition analysis and integration, organizational/process change and Board/Senior Management requested projects).
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA required.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles, with at least 5 years in a corporate leadership/management role. Prior Big 4 or National public accounting required.
Comprehensive understanding of GAAP and IFRS principles, financial reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance. Experience with M&A process and SEC filings.
Experience with rapidly growing, pre-IPO, acquisition-oriented companies; experience/knowledge with service-based technology companies preferred. Prior exposure to international operations required.
Proactive, take-charge, process-oriented mindset with the ability/track record to drive change/make an impact.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently at all levels of the organization. High EQ approach.
